Description: Banjo - Paramount Style B Tenor
There are no pictures available for this banjo
This instrument is playable right out of its original, but worn, repaired case. The neck is straight showing the normal wear and tear on the fret board. The resonator has a few places where the wood has separated, but this is an easy fix. Looking at the serial number, a 9xxx, this instrument was probably made in 1927/1928. This banjo can be restored to its original beauty or, with some new strings put to work immediatedly. It was originally owned by a Texas judge who played in the Alamo City Dixieland Jazz Band. Sadly he was eliminated by the local mafia as his investigations pressed too close to some sensitive areas. Pictures available by request.
