Description: Banjo - Deering Sierra Banjo
There are no pictures available for this banjo
I bought this banjo as a Christmas gift for my son in December 2001. He played it until February 2002 when he bought an Earl Scruggs Standard from his banjo teacher. Since then it has been at my house in a case. I have played it occasionally mostly in "D" tuning for John Henry and kept my banjo in "G". It is in excellent + condition, actually near mint. I had 5th string spikes professionally installed and it has a Price Straightline tailpiece on it. I have the original tailpiece if buyer prefers. $1100 includes banjo as mentioned above, original tailpiece, Deering hardshell case, maintenance manual, shipping and full insurance coverage to lower 48 states. Would consider trade for Ramsey, Reiter, Wildwood or similar quality open back banjo. Willing to negotiate, please email any offers. Pictures are available. Thanks.
