Musical Instrument Description: Acoustic Guitar for sale - Jose Ramirez III 1a Especial Flamenco Blanca 1987 Near Mint Excellent Condition
I am selling a 1987 Jose Ramirez III 1a Especial Signed Traditional Wooden Pegged Flamenco guitar, it is a very rare model being made with Spruce and Cypress it is Excellent to near mint condition and has been owned by a hobby/collector most of its life untill i purchased it, it has 654mm's scale length 53mm nut and 56mm String spacing, action is currently at 3mm or you can change to 4mm for recording with different bridge saddle bone which is included with guitar, both saddle bones are made with the highest density bone available on the market. I will now explain the guitars condition in high detail. To look at it its like a new guitar although : there is minor damage to rear of guitar a 15mm crease in the guitars finish near where the guitar would sit on you hip as you play it, its definately not somewhere you would look at or notice, there is also very minor scratches and pitting in finish on rear of guitar only noticable in reflection of light and something a minor polish would remove, There is a 9 mm almost invisible crack in finish only : just below tap plate on face, under light i have also found other pitting in finish from nocks to guitars face and one more 9mm crack in finish at base of face and one indent on face near the fretboard on face its the size of a ballbearing on a ballpoint pen and is only in finish and all are only really noticable under reflection.. Regardless of this the guitar is like new to look at. It will be sold and shipped in a brand new white guitar case valued at $300 and made especially for Flamenco guitars with wooden pegs, i will place a new set of Aquilla Nylon/gut strings and remove tension on strings, and place humidifier in case for shipping, Aquilla Nyl/Gut strings are the best sounding strings i have found and suit the guitar extremely well and at $60 a set they are not cheap. The sound of this Ramirez is truly exquisite and definately unique harmonic sound as i chose it out of 30 other guitars that i had looked in same quality of build, I chose it purely for its authentic flamenco sound with a balanced bass mid treble range and because it truly feels like your fingers are floating on air as you play it, it definately has the desired flexible sound board making playability like butter. A new Ramirez 1a will cost you $8500 or more but it wont have been made by Jose Ramirez III one of spains most famous builders or be as remarkable, it truly is a piece of art history. I am only selling this guitar due to relocating to Europe next year along with a few other guitars that will be up on this site soon, cant take them all with me.
