Acoustic Guitar for sale - Hippner: 8-string Guitar

Have been playing Hippners for 6 years, I currently own several, he's a first rate builder.

This is priced to sell. Direct from Hippner this guitar would be $5100 + shipping and insurance: Deluxe model:$3,500 + Rodgers gears: $1,000, 2 additional strings: $400, French polish top: $200. He will verify this.

Received in March 2009, Englemann spruce/Madagascar Rosewood. Rodgers gears. Bracing is the same as famous 1937 Hauser - ex Segovia. Cedro neck, ebony fretboard. Single sound port (Mueller style). Structurally sound, no cracks. Excellent condition.

I'm selling strictly for financial reasons. Sound is very full and reverberant but focussed; clear trebles have sparkle and basses are very warm. Excellent playability and intonation. Saddle is Wooly Mammoth ivory (I make and intonate my own saddles).

Already set up with internal McIntyre transducer, if you want it, no charge.

I have done hundreds of 8-string guitar arrangements; I will include PDFs, you can choose what you want from a list, on a CD-R as part of the purchase.
