From the much-celebrated and now retired British maker, Paul Fischer, for your consideration, here is a unique creation by the master, Opus II, with best-of-everything timbers and tuners and no expense spared.

This is an exceptionally made instrument, with striking materials, including "3-dimensional" African sapele-pommelle (Entandrophragma cylindricum) for the back and sides, and rosewood accents on the heelcap binding. The guitar is crowned by an exceptional set of Rodgers tuning machines. Playability is very smooth, with a very punchy responsiveness, resulting in great ease of right hand playing. The guitar has a plump, mellow sound, with a very clear core to each note, all the way from the lowest bass note to the highest treble.

This is one of the more decorated-looking and finer-sounding examples of this makers work, a spectacular find for anyone who has wanted to own a special guitar from this exceptional maker.

Fischer guitars are played by many professionals including Jason Vieaux, the Assads, Eduardo Fernandez, Paulo Bellinatti & John Mills. Perhaps the most recorded artist on Fischer is Jason Vieaux. You can hear his Fischer on several fine records available in the market.

African Sapele Pommele of superb, premium quality with beautiful colours, quarter-sawn figuring.

Front:
European spruce with the well-recognised, stylised fleur-de-Lys rosette with Paul's regiment colours of crimson and gold.

Details:
The idge tie-block inlay and the head binding are also made of Sapele Pommele which elegantly matches the body.

Tuners:
Rodgers tuners with very handsome, engraved sideplates and white mother-of-pearl buttons.

Neck Width:
52mm at the nut

Condition:
Excellent - a couple of nicks on the top and one discrete mark on the back of the headstock - almost as if just from the maker's bench.

Paul Fischer is now retired. This instrument is one of the last ones he made. It is a unique guitar in all respects and should sell soon.
