Description: Acoustic Guitar - 1972 Anselmo Solar Gonzalez Classical Guitar
Anselmo Solar Gonzalez was born in 1918 in Valle de Nalon, and as a self-taught luthier was already winning prizes at Expositions for his guitars by 1938. In 1943, he moved to Madrid and went to work for Santos Hernandez, who unfortunately died soon afterwards. Anselmo, however, continued to build guitars for Hernandez's widow until 1948, when he decided to open his own workshop. This guitar is a wonderful example of his work.
Indian Rosewood back and sides, Cedar top, 660 scale length, 52mm at the nut, Nicoli Alessi tuners, hard shell case, some playing wear on the top, very small ding at the waist.
