Free-bass allows for 4 octaves of single notes OR standard basses as on any other accordion. Quint system is that used by the late Anthony Galla-Rini, also by Richard Galliano, Stanley Darrow, Edward Gurzynski and many other comtemporary players. It is produced currently by several important builders including Excelsior, Victoria and Cavagnolo.
