This is a VERY NICE Fox Renard Model 220 professional bassoon. Fox is the best American maker of bassoons and oboes, and the 220 is their flagship model for the Renard line. Fox's manufacturing is excellent. Intonation is very good, action feels good, and these bassoons sound good enough to play in a youth, civic, or college orchestra. This particular one is in EXCELLENT condition. It has the high D key as well as the optional high E key. Here's a chance to get the number one bassoon in America for less than half of the price new.
