Gibson LG-2 USED, Vintage 1950 Gibson LG-2. Exc+++ overall condition with lots of wonderful patina and finish crazing. Mahogany back and sides with a Red Spruce top. Traditional sunburst top. Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with pearl dot markers. Brazilian Rosewood straight bridge with pearl dots on wings. Tortoiseshell colored pickguard. Black headstock faceplate with Gibson logo. Appears to be all original, except perhaps the tuning machines, and maybe the saddle. Both may, in fact, be original. Black plastic tuner buttons and endpin. Ivoroid body binding. Single purfling line forms the rosette and circles the top. Extremely dry, woody, breathy tone. Lots of mystery & music in this box, needs to be played! SSC included.
